A Little About Mrs. Dianne RoweMrs. Dianne Rowe's Teacher Web Page
1. What do you like about teaching at St. Alexander?
The cohesiveness of the faculty. Having taught in other schools, I find this environment unique and genuinely caring. We feel like a family. The parents are generous to a fault, and easy to talk to and caring of their child/ren's progress.
2. Why have you chosen to teach in the Catholic Schools?
There is an emphasis here on teaching the Catholic faith, and I can't imagine life without Jesus and the Gospel teachings. I have always been in Catholic schools. I feel the quality of caring and education is above standard in Catholic Schools, and at St. Alexander we constantly strive to " Be the Best We Can Be!" (Our motto.)
3. Favorite teaching moment?
My favorite teaching moments are the "light bulb" moments. To be able to see the understanding dawn on a child's face, and the joy they get from knowing what you're talking about and being able to successfully do it themselves.
4. When did you know that you wanted to be a teacher?
I taught my brother his colors and numbers before he went into Kindergarten. I have been teaching all my life. I feel we are all teachers who have unique knowledge to impart to each other as well as to the children.
