1. What do you like about teaching at St. Alexander?
I like teaching at St. Al's because it is a Christian community which allows me to incorporate my faith into my teaching. I feel supported in my faith by both the faculty and the families in the school and I hope that they feel my support for their faith too.
2. Why have you chosen to teach in the Catholic Schools?
I am a product of Catholic schools and have sent my children to St. Michael's parish school. I appreciated the support I received from the school and hope to share that support with the families of the students I teach.
3. Favorite teaching moment?
Any moment that a student is successful is a favorite moment.
4. When did you know that you wanted to be a teacher?
I think, like many teachers, I have always wanted to teach. We played "school" at home and the sisters and lay teachers encouraged us. The desire to share ideas, feelings, and faith with others makes teaching an ideal profession!
