1. What do you like about teaching at St. Alexander?
Working with a faculty and staff that have become like family. Teaching together while learning new techniques, sharing ideas and watching our children grow into the wonderful St. Alexander community.
2. Why have you chosen to teach in the Catholic Schools?
Since my first year of teaching I have taught in a Catholic school. It happened to be the grade school I graduated from and here at St. Alexander's. There's a comfort level of being surrounded by our Catholic faith. The prayer services, masses, and the philosophy a Catholic school provides, keeps me coming back to sharein the experienc together.
3. Favorite teaching moment?
There are many favorite teaching moments. The best times are when the whole class is working hard together as a team, and smiling with individual success.
4. When did you know that you wanted to be a teacher?
I had worked at day campsd during the summer and babysat allot while growing up. Watching children succeed was such an enjoyment. It felt great being part of a child's development. During college a coach helped me decide to get into education anfd teach.
