A Little About Miss. Jacque HugueletMiss. Jacque Huguelet's Teacher Web Page
1. What do you like about teaching at St. Alexander?
The best thing about teaching at St. Alexander's is the strong family-like atmosphere. The staff and families epitomize the Catholic spirit that is taught here. The St. Al's community takes pride in their school and that is evident as soon as you enter the building.
2. Why have you chosen to teach in the Catholic Schools?
I have attended Catholic schools all my life and I feel strongly that the education I received has benefited me greatly. I have chosen to teach in the Catholic schools because I believe a Catholic education is a powerful thing. It not only teaches the learner, but also nurtures them spiritually helping them grow in their faith.
3. Favorite teaching moment?
My favorite moments are seeing the expression on a student's face when they have finally understood a concept and are glowing with pride. As well as, the real-life connection a student makes to his or her learning experience during a lesson- making that particular lesson that much more meaningful.
4. When did you know that you wanted to be a teacher?
I knew I wanted to be a teacher ever since I can remember. I love working with children and have come from a strong educationally fueled background. My family places a huge emphasis on education, which is why I am so passionate about teaching. They have instilled in me a hunger to learn, which I hope to share with my students.
