1. What do you like about teaching at St. Alexander?
Teaching at St. Alexander’s School is truly fulfilling experience. It is a place where everyone enjoys what they’re doing and works toward a common goal - spreading the “Good News” and putting it into action.
2. Why have you chosen to teach in the Catholic Schools?
I choose to teach in a Catholic school because it gives me an opportunity not only to share my educational experiences, but also to share by Catholic faith and values with the children and people I encounter each day.
3. Favorite teaching moment?
A favorite teaching moment occurs when you see your students putting into practice something you taught them and you know it is making them a better person because of it.
4. When did you know that you wanted to be a teacher?
I knew I wanted to be a Catholic School Teacher when I was very young. I enjoyed helping the sisters before and after school as they prepared for class. They seemed to always be excited about what they did. I wanted to be able to touch peoples lives and make a difference reach their fullest potential the way many of my teachers helped me. I feel that I am very blest to be able to teach not only academic excellence but to help in the formation of the spiritual and personal growth of my students.
