A Little About Mrs. Marge Dillon

Mrs. Marge Dillon's Teacher Web Page

1. What do you like about teaching at St. Alexander?

I feel fortunate to have the resources available at our school and the cooperation of the parents, school administration and staff. I am excited to be teaching the full-day program and look forward to fostering the Kindergartners' growth. I have had the pleasure of teaching Kindergarten for the past 18 years.

2. Why have you chosen to teach in the Catholic Schools?

I am a product of 16 years of Catholic education. I feel that I have been given so much from the schools that I attended. That is why I chose to share what I have been given from my parents, parish priests, religious, and teachers who have influenced my life.

3. Favorite teaching moment?

My favorite moments are watching the childrens' excitement as they learn new things and sharing good humor when reading favorite stories.

4. When did you know that you wanted to be a teacher?

As a child my mother fostered a love of literature by reading to me every day. I enjoyed "playing school" and creating school projects as I was growing up. In college, when the opportunity arose to teach a group of children, I realized that teaching was a career that would be fun and rewarding. At the end of every day I'm never dissappointed by that decision.
