1. What do you like about teaching at St. Alexander?
I like teaching at St. Alexander's because it is a school that constantly challenges me to excel professionally. I also enjoy the support and camaraderie of the teachers and staff, as well as the students' eagerness to learn.
2. Why have you chosen to teach in the Catholic Schools?
Having gone through 12 years of Catholic schooling, it seems natural for me to teach in the Catholic educational system. I enjoy being able to help my students learn about their Catholic faith, the faith that is such an integral part of my life.
3. Favorite teaching moment?
The best part of teaching for me is when a child suddenly "gets it." I like seeing his/her "light bulb turn on."
4. When did you know that you wanted to be a teacher?
Since I've always enjoyed being with children, I think I've always known that I wanted to be a teacher. I feel fortunate to be in a profession that I'm so excited about. It practically doesn't feel like work!
