1. What do you like about teaching at St. Alexander?
There is a wonderful sense of community and family at St. Alexander. The faculty and staff are warm, welcoming, and fun. The families who make St. Al's what it is are beyond compare. The sense of pride in our school and parish is very evident.
2. Why have you chosen to teach in the Catholic Schools?
I am a product of 14 years of Catholic education. It is a very large part of who I am today. I've chosen to teach in the Catholic Schools because I want to help provide the same great faith-based education I recieved.
3. Favorite teaching moment?
Any time I see a child's face light up because they have learned something new. Those are the best moments in teaching.
4. When did you know that you wanted to be a teacher?
I've always enjoyed being with children. Growing up in a large family, there were always plenty of kids around! Having a love of children and an ability to relate to them, teaching seemed like the natural choice for me.
